The PGA Tour announced the new qualifying system for the Web.com Tour (formerly the Nationwide Tour) and the PGA Tour today.
Starting next year, the top 25 money winners on the Web.com Tour will earn their PGA Tour cards. They will also enter the Finals Series looking for reshuffle list priority. The guys who are #26-50 on that list and those who finish #126-200 on the PGA Tour FedEx Cup points list (plus non-members with equivalent points) will enter the Finals Series looking for 25 more PGA Tour cards. Those 50 get to the PGA Tour.
Q-School will now solely be a ticket to the Web.com Tour.
I like it. It’s simple. Easy, and hopefully the fans will be able to understand and follow along.
