Well after deciding that posting from seven time zones away when you haven’t seen one shot of a tournament may not be the best idea, I’m back with this week’s What It Means.
Luke Donald Wins the Accenture Match Play Championship: The victory is Donald’s third of his PGA Tour career. That may shock some people. For such a sweet swinger of the golf club he’s had little success on the PGA Tour. He’s fallen into a very large group of promising, consistent, steady players who win occasionally but just seem to not have that breakthrough (World Golf Championship, a major, etc) win to go along with past success. Maybe this is that victory for Donald. He’s got all the talent in the world.
