ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Jets DE Calvin Pace will have foot surgery this week and will be out 4-6 weeks. That’s a huge blow to the Jets pass rush.
And ESPN Newyork.com’s Rich Cimini is reporting that as a result, Adalius Thomas could be a Jet soon. That would be a positive.

Adalius Thomas to the Jets would be a positive? For the rest of the AFC East, yes, it probably would be.
Adalius Thomas is just what the New York Jets need: another washed-up has-been who will divide the locker room if he doesn’t have it his way. The Jets already have that role filled by Ladainian Tomlinson, Braylon Edwards, Kris Jenkins, Jason Taylor and Antonio “Wait, How Many Kids Do I Have?” Cromartie.
Also, how hilariously expected it is that the Jets pick up Thomas after he leaves the Patriots. Mike Tannenbaum and the Jets front office pick through the Patriots’ trash like members of the paparazzi.
