ESPN.com has picked up on that Golf Digest article I picked up on a couple weeks ago. Inside it has a couple nuggets:
1) President Obama and former President Clinton both made personal calls of encouragement
2) Elin DID visit Tiger at rehab — confirming what tabloids had reported for week
3) Tiger and Elin spent Christmas together with the kids in SoCal, and while there Tiger and his mom did their yearly visit to the Buddhist monk.

What are the Presidents doing giving him encouragement? Do we condone Tiger’s behavior? Are we accepting of a society where scoundrels, cheaters and scumbags are our heroes? Is that how low we have sunk?
Come to think of it, I completely understand why Clinton sympathized with Tiger.
Tiger is a terrible person. He is a bad father and a worse husband. But because he’s a Democrat who gave a half-assed “apology”, Clinton and Obama give him the seal of approval.
