It got off to a rocky start, but finished strong (like this blog post.) But Mark Sanchez’s first start as Jets QB, albeit the preseason, did end with a touchdown. But it started with an interception returned for a touchdown and another one Ravens’ LB Ray Lewis should have had. Let’s hope he got the bad bugs outta him. But he did end it with a nice drive that led to the TD pass to Leon Washington. Good luck, Mark.
Leon, looked strong, as did the defense, which does need Darelle Revis back in pass coverage. Dwight Lowery hasn’t improved, and I hope he is not starting or participating in any major situations this year, or opposing offenses will just eat him up. Like they did last year.
Shonn Greene has rib injuries, lets hope he returns soon, and the return of Nick Mangold and Alan Faneca on the offensive line helped finally open up the running lanes for Thomas Jones and Washington.
Let’s hope we see better performances on both sides of the ball Saturday night against the Giants at 8pm ET on WNBC-TV.
