Well, congrats to Lucas Glover. He won the US Open today and his steady play and timely birdies helped him become a deserved champion.
I feel bad for Ricky Barnes, but, as he said himself afterwords, nerves got to him. I do have a feeling this is the start of something good for him.
Tiger’s putter was faulty, and he couldn’t make the charge he was destined to make as the ball striking improved.
And then there was Phil Mickelson, trying to get that trophy for Amy, who once again couldn’t get the victory and gets another 2nd place finish in the US Open. We hope for the best with Amy and hope to see Phil back on tour really soon.
It was a different US Open that had a lot of twists and turns, and congrats in the end to Lucas Glover.
